Music Jam – Join us for our monthly music jam on February 8, the fun begins at 7:30 pm.
Writer’s Group – Our monthly writer’s group will meet on February 12 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Writers of all levels are welcome. We share our writing with the group and we share in a writers challenge. We are currently compiling pour group’s writing for a book that we will be publishing.
Social Dance – Our monthly social dance will be February 23 and features the Rat Pack – Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr. Dance the night away with foxtrots, waltzes and more. Feel free to dress for the era! The dances are held at the Manitowish Waters Community Center from 7:00 pm – 10:00pm and the cost is $10 per couple. We offer beverage service and free snacks. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to attend!

Birch Bark Christmas Trees – November 28, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm – We will create 12″ trees that feature fun curly birch bark. The cost of the class is $35. Please call 715-367-6758 or email yourartsprgram@gmail.com to pre-register!

Kids Make and Take – December 1 – 1:00 – 3:00 pm – This class, for children ages 5 and older, will inspire creativity and result in a project that the kids will be proud of! Pre-registration is required! $10 fee per child. Call 715-367-6758 or email yourartsprogram@gmail.com to register.
Christmas Open House - December 2 – 11:00 – 3:00 pm – Shop for unique items for everyone on your Christmas list! Register for door prizes and enjoy a bit a warm refreshment!
Writers Group – December 11, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, This monthly group is open to the public. It is a great way to give your writing a kick-start, receive critique and be inspired. This is a free group, we would encourage you to become a member or make a donation so that we can continue to offer our many great free programs!

Social Dance Party “Snowflake Soiree” - December 29– held at the Manitowish Waters Community Center, 7:00 – 10:00 pm. Our dances feature a medley of music from the 1920′s through today! Everyone is certain to be dancing the night away. We also have dance ambassadors – enthusiastic dancers that aren’t pros but love to dance. They can help you learn the basic steps to get swinging! $10 fee benefits local programs. To date, we have donated funds to the Community Food Pantry, The Manitowish Waters Lions and the Manitowish Waters Fire and EMS Co.
How exciting to have such a great opportunity for the Northwoods. I was at my stitching group yesterday and one of the ladies shared that you would be offering some awesome classes in September, one of them being brich bark basketry. Do you have any informationon the cost and date of such a program?

Hi Cindy! It is nice to “meet” you! We are holding a birch bark box class on September 22 from 5:30 – 8:30. You will make a cylindrical birch ark box that has a lid. These boxes are great accent pieces and make wonerful treasure boxes! The cost of the class is $30 which includes all materials, tool usage and instruction. Watch for a new September posting soon for all of the offerings!

Hi Jodie! I will sign you up for the class! The 09/07 & 28 class will take place at Arlene’s studio. On October 5 we will convene at the art center where you will be presented with your ceramic bases that you created and we will fashion a pine needle basket upon the base!
